Dear Linda,
My sincere and deepest sympathies to you and your family over the loss of John.

He is my definition of a peaceful warrior, and a kind and gentle soul. His words and wishes touch us, inspire us and give us hope to be able to live up to his ideals. We will battle on, and remember our friend for his courage, honesty and gentle manner.

John, rest in peace, my friend.
On the journey, and always, In Harmony.

Linda & family,

I've had a huge amount of admiration & respect for John. He always said things in a kind and gentle way. I value how he shared experiences, ideas and most importantly, hope. What a kind, gentle man.

I can only imagine the loss you feel. I hope you feel comforted knowing that he fought so hard to stay with you, his family.

May you find strength in the love of family and warm embrace of friends.

I will truly miss him.

I'm sorry to hear this - I really enjoyed reading his posts and he's one of those we all noticed when he wasn't on here. He seemed to really handle this in a very graceful way.

I'm so sorry for your loss. John was such a kind soul with a great sense of humor, and lots of good information and support for all of us. We'll all miss him.

I'm glad you had hospice help at the end, and that he is no longer suffering. My wish for you is to have laughter and smiles through your tears, as you remember all the good times while you say goodbye, and get used to daily life without John present.

John was a huge help to me when my cancer kept progressing and I needed to find a trial. I believe he was the first one I heard about the keryx trial from. I am sorry for your loss, please know what a blessing he was to us.

Linda, I can't even tell you how sorry I am for you and your family. I knew this was coming and dreaded the day you would post it. He was such a good man from what I knew of him and he will be so very much missed here for his words of wisdom, humor and just being there for us.

Again, you have my deepest sympathies during this very hard time.
