Here's to a positive week ahead !

Postby CRguy » Sun Aug 08, 2010 11:10 pm

I know there's a few folks heading further along on the "journey", a lot of us continuing on active treatments, and a bunch of us on rechecks and maintenance.....SO :
Without leaving anyone out : here's to a successful and positive week ahead for everyone in our community.

SkiFletch : In Harmony...you did ask for huge harmony after all ! Cheers and best wishes on the preppin' and HIPECin' Mon/Tues.

BrownBagger : hoping for good things on the needlin', Wed. Speedy return to the gardening thread !

My active chemo buddies, and newly inducted chemo buddies...good infusin' and UNeventful treatments please !

Paula, jmarie, John603...always sending positive thoughts your way, Good to hear from you whenever you can post.

To all the currently active posters, thanks for sharing. I find this place a special sanctuary, amongst friends, when I''m feeling "serious" and a good place to blow off steam and act up when I'm not ! Doesn't get any better than that.

Cheers to all on the journey, for a positive week ahead.

I need that luck for my mom's new situation! I'll take it. THANK YOU FOR THAT! And, ditto-- best of the best for all on board--- whatever you are facing or enduring this week- everybody converge their positive energy and thoughts and we can create a little circle of miracles and good outcomes for all. I say this as I'm facing a week with a lot of challenges, so I am harnessing the good thoughts :)

Positive thoughts to everyone for a week of.....minimal pain, no anxiety, decent night sleeps, no side effects, GOOD test results, uneventful treatments and a giggle or 2 to keep us sane!!!!!!!!!!

I will be concentrating on putting one foot in front of the other this week as I meet the chemo-rad "Team", and I invite anyone that needs to walk slowly this week to walk with me.....

For those of you facing the "REALLY BIG STUFF", you are in my thoughts and prayers

What a wonderful post CRguy!
This is such a wonderful board, don't know what I'd do without it! I don't post very much...I don't have a way with words the way that a lot of you do. However, I do read a lot of the posts and will reply when I feel that I can help someone. Many of you help/have helped me when I've needed it! It's nice to know that we are all here for each other, willing to give advice/support/encouragement. It's also a place to share our feelings, our good times and our bad and to vent. I wish you all a positive week! Take care all. xxx

amen and amen.

This was a great post for us to see as Chris' third round of FOLFOX comes to a close and we return to normal (ok, sorta normal) life.

Good luck to all: with recovery, plowing ahead, persevering, staying sane, living life, making decisions, sifting through information, minimizing (or maximizing) one's time in the john, no unwelcome surprises, finding answers, gardening, home repairs, sitting back and not doing the home repairs... I think I've got everyone.

Still new here, but eternally grateful for all the advice and encouragement.
