Wondering...

Postby Holly » Tue Apr 24, 2007 8:38 am

I recently forwarded an email I received to Molly. Out of no where, a woman sent me an email saying she remembered me from a flight I took to St. Louis late July last year and read my story on the Colondar. Wondering....How do people find you? The only way this woman could have known my name is that my name was called as I was upgraded to business class on my connecting flight. I have a rather unremarkable look and certainly not a common name (no offense, but if it was smith, I might understand) Hum....Glad she saw the Colondar but interesting how people find you....

Since I am from St Louis (well one of the suburbs Florissant) I can tell you how I found the colon club and you. There is a give away paper here that you can pick up at the grocery store the casinos some resturaunts etc called The River Front Times RFT for short. AT one point and I am not sure if it was last July or not they ran an article that mentioned the Colondar. It had the Colon Club's website in it so and you can figure the rest out. Then there is a magazine just called "St Louis" they recently ran an artilce on the Top Docs in ST Louis (My surgeon Phillip Robbins was #1 under colorectal) maybe there was something in that I missed. She may of also heard of the Figgtree Foundation that is based in ST Peters I think and that is also a suburb of ST Louis. Rather than give a geography lesson whenever I am asked I always say I am from ST Louis because it is easier.

Now as to part 2 I know I would know you If I saw you but I would recognize your name.

Holly, I know it isn't what you want to hear. Look at all you have been through. You have incredible strength and such a positive attitude. You are there for so many. Now, you have to face it, I know it's hard, but now you are a celebrity!!
