After being diagnosed with colon cancer on her 23rd birthday and going through treatment for the disease, Molly McMaster laced up her inline skates and skated from Glens Falls, NY to Greeley, CO. She wanted to show the world that anyone could get colorectal cancer, no matter what their age. She was able to raise awareness and funds, and inspire a young man named Andrew Hudon.
Andrew, of Lake George, NY, is riding his bike from Boulder, CO to the very same spot in Glens Falls where Molly departed from exactly 10 years before. (Note that he’s doing it in a mere 17 days!) In doing so, Andrew and his fellow riders celebrate the spirit of resilience of all those whose lives have been touched by cancer.
