My cousin's onc wants to give him a Procrit shot tomorrow. Everything I've read about it is very scary. My cousin takes meds for high blood pressure and diabetes already. His onc said the shot would improve his energy level....but again from what I've read there is no guarantee this will happen.
With all the warnings, we're very afraid of this shot. Could someone enlighten me or possibly there is an alternative?
