Yikes! I've got diverticulitis again! It's mild this time. I was pretty sick when I had it last summer. This time it showed up on my CT before I even knew I had it. I started feeling sick last night and started antibiotics this morning. I don't have the full results of the scan. The radiologist called my oncologist with the diverticulitis finding because that seemed to require immediate intervention. The full report will be coming along eventually. I'll probably get it at my follow up on Monday. Getting a call from my oncologist's office three hours after my scan scared the do do out of me. I was relieved to hear it was someting ELSE! They said to call them if I started having any symptoms. I called this AM and started treatment. I should be fine in a couple of days.
