Can someone refuse to hire you because you have cancer

The Colondar is linked to porn sites? I just googled it and didn't see anything listed that looked like a porn site, and I'm pretty sure there hasn't been a Colondar Girls Gone Wild video produced or anything. I really don't think anyone is using the Colondar as porn.

speaking as a future colondar model, I'm pretty sure we're all clear on how the internet works. We all found the colondar ourselves at some point, and even if it wasn't on the internet that we heard about it, i'm pretty sure all of us (when applying for it, or after being accepted) probably searched around a bit on it.

and i don't know anyone who'd willingly apply to be photographed for a calendar that is sold and distributed who doesn't already freely share their stories.

and if thinking in terms of life insurance...well, i'm pretty sure none of us will be "hiding" cancer. That's kinda hard to get around with insurance companies

I'm pretty sure being pictured in a calendar is the least of our worries.

at least, thats my opinion.

I know how to use google, although I have to admit that I only spent about one minute in my quick search, being far too busy working on a class assignment for indepth navigation (a very non-porn activity requiring attention to spelling and grammar). it's one thing to go pose for a porn site or mag...but hell, people get off to pretty much anything these days.
i'm sure ANYthing you google could be attached to a porn site somehow.
there's guys out there beating off to golden girls episodes! so anything is possible.

and if ANYone held anything against me b/c they saw the colondar i'm posing in on a porn site, 1) i would question why in the hell they were looking for colon porn, and 2) NOT CARE. ANY of my pictures that are online can end up there. it's not MY fault, and can't be helped. and if someone isn't smart enough to figure that out...that a calendar designed to raise awareness ISN'T actually porn...well, so be it for them

i'm sure not losing any sleep over it.

How can a simple question of hunting a job, end up talking about porn!!!!!It is absolutly disgusting, that there is real preverted people out there getting off on people having colon cancer. This website has been so helpful and support to so many people. Just to think someone can make it so ugly, really makes me mad!!!!
This has been a comfort zone for so many of us to come to. It really upsets me that some-one can take it and make it so demeaning.....

On, reguards to hunting a job, I do think it is best to be honest. If for some reason, you have to go through a lot of test and so forth. I think your employer needs to be aware of what is going on. Like some one said cancer is not something that can be hid. It is bad that finding a job, is another hurdle we have to cross while fighting this disease.
