Hi. I'm a 37 year old who was diagnosed with stage IIIc colon cancer in Jan.'09. I had a colon resection and did 12 rounds of chemo and was doing great until this past Jan. They found that the tumors had spread to my liver and there was also a tumor between my liver and pancreas. After 5 rounds of chemo the tumor outside of the liver resolved and the tumors inside my liver are half of their original size. I'm posting because I am now a candidate for a liver resection. I see the surgeon tomorrow and will get more info., but I find myself very nervous about the surgery. I had no problems recovering from my colon resection, so I'm not sure where these fears are coming from. I was hoping that people who have had this surgery can tell me how it was. Thanks in advance for your help!
