Happy Valentine's Day

Postby Holly » Wed Feb 14, 2007 7:37 am

Dear Colon Club,

Roses are red...
Violets, like my eyes, are blue...
On this Valentine's Day...
May all your hopes and dreams come true...

Ok, so I am not the most poetic. I hope that on this day that each of you have love in your hearts that will carry you through the coming year! I wish you all a very happy day!

Holly,
Thanks for all the inspiration and advice on Colon Talk...

Roses are not always red, sometimes they are white
Cancer will not beat us if we battle and fight
We may sit on the crapper more times then most
But what's a few brown streaks left on the coast

Happy Valentines day to all!!!

Holly:

You may not believe so, but you have the soul of a poet.

Your presence here day after day is poetry itself.

Thanks for all the wonderful posts you give, and for the support and kindness you show us all. Happy Valentine's Day right back atcha!!

Hey, Holly. Here is my attempt at a Valentine's Day poem:

I once had a met on my lung,
And a fissure adorning my bum,
I tried 5FU, and when it was through,
The met on my lung had gone.

But that fissure stayed right on my ass.
It burns each time I pass gas.
On Valentine's Day, I wish it away,
'Cause poems about fissures always are crass.

I hope you are all well!

Even though this is "colon talk", I honestly was not thinking about bums or bowels. You are all very kind and creative.

Thank you,

Holly
