Is that the way government runned healthcare works, 4 to 6 weeks for a urgent scan? I don't want it, I'll pass!

CRguy, I'm praying for you. I pray it's nothing. Hey, I have to or had two lung mets and never new it.

I'm trying to get a trend going here, Dori, Joanne and someone else all had great results are on their scans, you have to keep the trend going positive and that's all there is to it! Mine is going to keep the trend in the right direction also.

God Bless you!

It's been a tough week at our house. I appreciate your humor!

Have you guys read a book called F My Life. My husband got it as a gift. Pretty funny stuff. I think CRguy could help write the sequel ;)

CR,

I am probably 3.5 myself. Considered 3C (with 4 nodes).

Thanks Terry, I did come through my CT scan this week with no change. My limbs are crossed for all our friends in the same position. Hoping to make 2010 the year, we make a difference and cheat this beast called cancer. Wins for our side.

CR, best wished for you. Keep us posted, hoping all turns out ok. All positive thoughts and prayers for you! As you say "Like a Rock"

ONWARD!!

Now that the new "Stage" has become the 350 club...and we have an official dance : The Limbo Rock, I think we need an official motto:

"Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass; it's about learning to dance in the rain.... and compartmentalizing Zen."
- Thanks to justsing for these ideas.

( now off to my second onco follow up visit )

Yes off to the onco doc! Next Tuesday. First a jolly visit to a thoracic surgeon to talk about those two "somethings" in my lung which haven't changed in 9 months. After that a lung function "test." Will the merriment never cease? Packing up my zen right now to go to a port flush at 4 p.m. Cheers to you and all the other members of the Limbo Club 3.5 as well as everyone else on the journey. My new puppy is trying to cheer me up. He just brought me my ex-new-shoes...those boots that used to have heels. :)

Good puppy..must be a bullmastiff : "what's mine is mine...what's yours..is mine...if it is in my mouth it must be mine, and if I chew it up... all the pieces are mine ! "

Hope everything comes ...out... alright !

Cheers and best wishes on the port flush and onco visit, from the 350 club.

I don't like becoming a member of the 350 club but at least there is humor to help here. Arghhhhh, cancer! "Suspcicious thingee go away" is what I am going to be thinking for all of us.

So I thought I would mention that they saw a 3mm spot on my lungs in a PET/CT in May. Rescan in August and it vanishes.

I know 'it is what it is' but it may not be what it seems. Fingers crossed with you!

Thank you Jennifer, thank you, thank you.
Always love the good wishes ! BUT....it may not be what it seems kind of hits home with me right now at a more visceral level, and I thank you for reminding me of that. Trying to get my head around my current "journey" and will post in a bit...but NOT good to spend too much time inside your own head ( unless you are doing a revival of "Being John Malkovich" !! )

Gotta get out and smell the roses, and dance in the rain, and hug my grandson, and chase my "grand"puppy and...well you get it.

Cheers

And a thank you, thank you, thank you to Jennifer from me as well. I echo CRguy's comment that it is not good to spend too much time inside your own head - I'm especially feeling that now as well.

Hey CRguy - definitely get out and dance in the rain, hug your grandson and grand puppy and smell all the roses - I hugged the cat today, all the kids, and I'm signing off the boards for a couple of days to get my mind focused on the Pacific NorthWET instead.....
