This drug has been a lifesaver for me.. I started using this on my 2nd round of folfox treatment and the pain has decreased dramatically from this med. Oxialiplatin(sp) has really affected my hands/feet with numbness so bad that I could not walk because my feet hurt so bad.. After taking this med, I has some pain, but it is bearable. It took approximatly 2 weeks to work, but I have been on it for 5 months and it has done wonders -- the only bad side effect was weight gain for me (20 lbs in 4 months) mostly water weight.
I hope some of you try this med...has been great for me...
