This is a great thread, especially for all of us newcomers here. It's great to see all the success stories! Good luck to everyone going through this. I hope to see all our names here in 5 yrs!

Yes this thread is a GREAT inspiration. Please note Diana started this thread in November 2009. About 8 years ago. I'm sorry to say, a few of the people who were here in the beginning are not here today, BUTT make no mistakes, far more MANY of us our here today, MORE than even this thread can cover. It is possible to beat this cancer or for many people it is a treatable long term condition.

I actually had to google what NED meant? "No Evidence of Disease!" That is so awesome for all of you ! I am praying for my mama too.. NED NED NED!!! :D

When people are NED, they reside in NEDville and the expression is "may you always reside in NEDville" :D

3 years and 7 months NED from T4B Stage 3B/C (depends who I ask)

I can officially update my signature now. Six years NED. This was something I didn't dare hope for early on in my diagnosis. These posts always gave me hope in the beginning so hopefully I'm paying it forward.

In October 6 years cancer free ... as far as we know according to follow ups , finished with scans now just bloods every 3 months

I'm just knocking at the door. May stand on the porch for a while. NED less than 12 hours. Might be all done with treatment, i.e., foregoing post-surgery chemo. Hope that s true and hope to find a happy home in this thread.

I just have to hang in till next jan 22nd when I will pass year twenty ex stage 3c. We have quite a club going,hugs to all Ron.
