Although this is an old thread (from 2009), since it has been revived, I'll add that each patient is different. While Xeloda might be easy to use for some patients, for others it can be difficult. "Good for ONE" is NOT always "Good for ALL". My husband ended up in the hospital after taking Xeloda, and it is felt that the drug contributed to the problem.

I have been taking xeloda since June 2013 and I had 8 treatments with oxy. My oncologist had to stop it due to the pain in my fingers and feet. I will continue with the xeloda and another new chemo on Monday. I was really sick too but it was the oxy that made me so sick. The xeloda doesn't give me a lot of bad side affects that I know of.
