Dealing w/ Colon Cancer Recovery

I have a very special friend diagnosed late(great doctor:-(() w/ Colon & Cervix Cancer. After Colon Radiation & Chemo, she has great pain moving her bowels. She Had novacane cream(minimal help). Any suggestion for better help & anything else to help in general would be greatly appreciated by Both of us. Thank you all and her's hope for all.

Welcome to the Colon Club! I am sorry to hear that your friend is experiencing discomfort but know that this is normal. I would encourage you to talk to her physician about the specific problem! You must be proactive in the management of your health. Ask a lot of questions and demand answers.
