Re: Folfiri with Avastin questions

My hair has thinned, some do lose all of their hair. I bought a wig, expecting it to fall out, and haven't used it. If she's losing her hair, it might be best to embrace it and just go super short or shave it. In terms of counts, you can try AHCC, it is a natural supplement from mushrooms that can s...

Re: Divine Healing

I like this thread. I love that someone out there thinks there is a greater power that can heal and help. I've struggled with my own questions and my own issues around region and god. I've now come to terms with my life, with its ups and downs, but know that whatever you want to call it, there is 's...

Re: how long for avastin to work?

I had more than 50% reduction on my three month scan after being on FOLFORI and Avastin. If its going to work, it will work quickly. The quickest die off is the first few months....

Good luck.

Re: Symptoms lung met

I have lung mets. I was watching a 3mm spot on my lung for about a year....then wham!!! several bilateral tiny spots. It could be nothing, it could be something. Watch and wait is often the method of choice of most oncologists with the lungs because it could be anything. I had a bunch of mets remove...

Re: Milk Thistle

I don't use a specific brand, I try to use AOR, Thorne, Organika or something along those lines. You can order them online as well if you can't find them at your local stores. In canada, try Vitasave (it used to be a local to BC company that was now bought out) https://www.vitasave.ca/catalogsearch/...

Re: Milk Thistle

I've used it since I was diagnosed. I had liver involvement at the time, so far, no issues in the liver (only the lungs). Three pills a day. Use a good organic brand.

Re: Questions for Stage 4 liver folks ???

I had liver issues. When I was diagnosed, I had a liver met. At the time, it was 5 mm and my first general surgeon was sure it was not cancer. After a ultra sound, and then an MRI, it was confirmed to be in fact a met. I had an open liver resection a few months after my colon resection. Section six ...

Re: Question about Vitamin D3

I consult my ND FABNO about my daughter as well. She recommends 400 iu of vit D and a good quality omega 3 for kids, and does this with her kids. You can get their levels tested by an MD or ND.

Re: Mets to lungs. .. answers on Monday the 27th

Just to add, you have some close to the aorta? You should try to get these out.... I was lucky and had one very close to my aorta removed with laser surgery. Conventional surgery likely wouldn't have found or removed it.
