Yes, Toradol always helped my husband's post-op pain much better than the pain pump. I believe Toradol can hurt the kidneys if taken for too long.

I, too, try to tell people how important it is, especially if they have any symptoms at all. My husband has two brothers. One got scoped shortly after hubby was diagnosed; the other refuses. Not sure why, as he is an otherwise smart and reasonable person...

I have heard mixed results regarding the efficacy of the various medications to combat neuropathy so who knows.
