Re: When/if chemo break?

It's not exactly the same thing as a chemo break, but we stopped my keytruda after 18 mos because I had been NED for over a year and was experiencing very painful arthralgia. That was around June 2020. I'm still NED.

Re: I'm back.

Consensus of opinion is that my tumor probably originated from a sessile polyp in the hepatic flexure..VERY hard to see. Last summer I had my first post-surgical, and second overall, colonoscopy, and the Dr found and removed two benign sessile polyps, IIRC one in the descending colon and the other i...

Re: Looking for hope

Pain of that type can be from a pinched nerve, in my experience. Also IME, acupuncture can be very effective.

Re: Erbitux Treatment And Rash!

Camicom, perhaps Ginabeewell will look in and comment on this for you. (I think that's the right way to draw it to her attention? If not, I suggest you look up her thread(s) if you haven't already. I don't know where you are located, but sometimes people are able to get the pump refilled more locall...

Re: VATS surgery/recovery

I have orthostatic hypotension also. Only affects me when going from sitting to standing, not lying down, but it is apparently unusually bad. I sometimes have seizure-like episodes, and find myself clinging to poles, walls, furniture, you name it in order not to go down while my legs/arms twitch/jer...

Re: New lurker taking the leap to participant

Wishing you a less eventful year ahead. Medically, that is! Just nice, calm, painfree healing.

And good hair days galore!

Roadrunner, good to see that your sense of humor is fully intact! My husband, who is about 6 ft 2 and very fit and muscular--he's a gm rat--has always seemed to have a supercharged metabolism. He has to eat frequently or he's in danger of passing out. He had surgery about 10 years ago, and of...

Re: Thoughts on treatment approach - stage IV recurrent

I missed all of this while away, sorry for belated support. In the first place, I can't believe they were looking at someone else's scans! Leaving that aside, I agree with the idea of seizing the opportunity of the surgical window, and it is great that your team is doing so. Since you can't have an ...

Re: Stage lll now stage IV, looking for guidance
