Re: Scanxiety creeping in

Also a CEA and a PSA (prostate) to see if t...

I am very sorry to hear the news, you have every right to a meltdown....embrace it for a brief time, then regroup and get ready for the fight that lies ahead...there is still hope.

Re: Feeling Guilty

KWT ...if there is junk food in the house that's what I eat, so I try not to keep too much in the house....if I don't have any "junk" then I'm afraid I will drive out and buy some....not good after drinking and smoking. For decent stuff I eat pistachios, almonds, dark chocolate , low fat i...

Re: Feeling Guilty

This disease can totally f@uck up your mind, so a little indulgence is ok in my book.......I drink several or more beers one-two days a week .....my problem is when I do it with MM I end up eating everything in the house.....which is definitely not good. I feel guilty ....but it takes away my fears ...

Re: The past four days have been interesting...

Yep, same as scar tissue.....no telling what triggers it...since I've had so many I have kept all kind of food and activity diaries and there is no common thread. After abdominal surgery most everybody gets scar tissue/adhesions in about 95-97% of the cases there are no problems, but the remaining 2...

Re: The past four days have been interesting...

Typically this can happen after any surgical procedure.... oftentimes caused by adhesions....I have been hospitalized 9 times from this !! Usually it resolves, and some folks will manifest itself from time to time!!

Re: Sorry guys

No apology needed......I think most all of us can identify. Some days I get so wound up....I get so mad at everything that my poor doggies go hide in another room......won't come out till I've settled down, then there is a wonderful lovefest. My finance knows how serious everything is but always put...
