Re: Rant - colon vs rectal cancer

I had rectal cancer- but I never say that. I always say colon cancer. I'm not fully adjusted to telling anyone that it's rectal.

Re: Gas/Constipation

Are you exercising now? Up until three weeks ago, I had both gas and constipation, but I've started exercising. I joke and say some people exercise to lose weight. I started to exercise because I was tired of the pain associated with constipation. Exercising has helped with both gas and constipation...

Re: We Need Some Laughs Here Reloaded for 2017

Some things I wish I knew: •If it's zero degrees outside today and it's supposed to be twice as cold tomorrow, how cold is it going to be? •What's a question with no answer called? •Why is a square meal served on round plates? •Why is it that people say they "slept like a baby" when babies...

Re: Newly diagnosed 28 female

If you feel comfortable, post your city or state. People here are very knowledgeable and might have better guidance for you. Go to the best doctor you can find. My mother's friend was diagnosed with colon cancer and she was also severely anemic. I don't recall where the cancer was as it was over 20 ...

Re: Colon cancer and lower back pain

This may be too simple but is the back pain tied to constipation? I know my back hurt a lot near the ribs on the left side. I think now it was constipation.

Others will answer who are more knowledgeable.

Re: Blood in urine and undergarments

I did go to the doctor and the blood was not in urine. (Thank you Lord.) It may have been a scratch or something else. I am not sure what caused it.

Life is both precious and scary when everything is unknown.

Blood in urine and undergarments

I had LAR surgery last July. I was diagnosed as stage 1. No chemo No radiation. I moved back overseas in September. Yesterday, I noticed blood in my underwear. I am assuming it is in the urine as well, but I can't see it. I'll go to our med unit on Monday. Is this common? I know it could be a UTI bu...
