Re: Looking for a HIPEC surgeon

I had 2 HIPEC surgeries in Pittsburgh, PA by Dr. Herb Zeh. He is a partner of Dr. David Bartlett that Vilca11 mentioned. I love him. He saved my life. He took my case when other HIPEC surgeons wouldn't.

Re: ANY long term stage 4/peritoneal mets survivors?

Two docs turned me down for the HIPEC before I found one that would do it. I had two HIPECs. I've been cancer free for 7 years. Please get a second or 3rd opinion.

Re: very low body temp & sunburned genitals what next?

Sless, please consider talking to a counselor. Your oncologist might be able to suggest one.

I'm glad you went to the ER. Hopefully you'll start feeling better now that the infection is being treated.

(hugs)

Re: my first ostomy accident, in public

Something must be really wrong with me. I've had so many accidents and leaks in public or at night, I can't even count them all. I've had an ileostomy (I call him leo) for 10 years and there have been some doozies. The most memorable accident happened in the most magical place on earth.

There could be some changes in your sexual function. I wish someone would have told me about before radiation.

Re: Where has my libido gone?

Great thread. I've been working on a blog post addressing the libido/sex after cancer issue butt since it's been so widely discussed on this thread perhaps I should scrap it, it's not an easy subject to discuss anyway.
You are not alone Cherie.
