Red blood can be from.anywhere in the colon, so it could be from the tumor.

A ruptured tumor increases risk of recurrence.

There should definitely be help available for the chemo costs.

Blood in the stool is always concerning, whether bright red or making your stool black and tarry. Bright red means lower in the digestive system, black and tarry means further up in the digestive system. NEVER dismiss blood in the stool because it's bright red.
