Pain first time is end of butt area is constant feels like golf balls. Have a strong pressure and burn also.
Same area can’t
bear it without pain pills and motrin.

Pain this time same thing same place. Thank God go for Biopsy this Friday also have stomach cramps at times.

I have diabetic Neuropathy and it is no fun. There are times it will be milder. When it flares I get a bag of ice and alternate my feet. It helps. I also take gabapentin it helps a lot also a mild tranquiliser helps. I have had Neuropathy for 5 years.

I had leaks until I was fitted right. I have luck with a one piece coloplast and small ring on top of flange. I also use the powder and prep packet plus I hold a heating pad so it seals well. I didn’t have an appetitie for 6 weeks after surgery. I would eat very little lost 28 pounds. Was told by surgeon it happens. Now all I want to do is eat. This possibly could be your dad’s problem. I liked the ice cream and pudding. Maybe try some sweets. Good Luck

I love salads and thought with the colostomy could never have one again. Do you eat all varitied of lettuce?

When you have the runs consant going, how do you handle it? I had a bag break. There has to be an easier way.

I am going having more pain with rear end and now feels like razor blades on left stomach side. I know you said takes a long time. But this is unacceptable.

I notice you give advise on living with the pouch

It is not comfortable and I spend a lot of time empty it.

I don’t like it dirty. Does it ever slow and do you know of a bag that you hardly notice on?

Hi Miss Molly,
That is exactly what it feels like fatigue, loss of appetite,
It hurts not intolerable but very uncomfortable sometimes hurts more take Motrin and Tylenol.

Dr said to relax for couple weeks so abscess can take care of itself.

Did your abscess resolve itself?

Hi I had a Lap rectum removal and was in severe pain when it should have been getting better.Had cat scan showed abscess and Dr drained . Was put on Flagyl and Cipro.
