Re: cancerislame

Hi, It was Dr. Lowy at UCSD for my HIPEC surgery. I agree the NG tube I had for my small bowel obstr. was one of the worst things I felt I've endured. Mostly because insertion was traumatic and mine never seemed to be working. The nurses in the Vegas hospital didn't care. My husband and I wares it m...

Well, here I am doing well 8 months after HIPEC, 22 months after dx and want to email that surgeon and say wtf. Doing what ttreatmens you are comfor...

Re: port removal tommorrow due topain from clots and oral ch

Thank you, Serena! So glad that port is out! It hurts now...feels a little like I have a high heel stuck in my chest, lol. It will feel good soon though! It turns out I had so much pain and poor blood return because my port was broken. The line was rusted like a straw and even had cracked. The PA sa...

Re: Erbitux Eyeballs

I still get the eyes issues from time to time. I think its a combo of unruly eyelashes and dry eye. Using refresh often helps and warm compresses to bring the moisture back. That darn Erbitux! It doesn't help that the seasons are changing and wreaking havoc as well.

Take care,
Jennifer
