Re: How can I help my family watch me die?

I agree with others that you are a remarkable woman, deeply empathetic to the feelings of others, and an absolute angel for worrying about how your death will affect them! Many, many people, when they're facing an impending loss, power down their ability to feel. "This is tough but I can't thi...

Re: How can I help my family watch me die?

There really is no way to prepare for a loved one's passing. They have more than likely have already started the grieving process, just not within your hearing or sight. Trust that they will find their way through it. I wish you peace and love as you travel this next step. Embrace the love from your...

Re: Scan results not what I had hoped for ...

Because I knew the ascites was rearing its ugly head, I knew that something was going on. Granted the ...

Re: Déjà vu

I wanted to provide an update on my situation in case it may be a helpful reference to someone else in the future ... I am always looking for and finding answers in others’ stories ... quick recap: stage IV diagnosed in June 2011 with a liver met, currently in remission. My last set of quarterly sc...

Re: Just found out I have cancer

Just an update here. I don't check in too often anymore - trying to live my life. I finished 9 rounds of chemo (switched to FOLFOXIRI), and I have HIPEC in two weeks. Excited to get on with it! Also terrified that there will be some non-resectable disease, but we find out soon! Where and who is doi...
