Re: O/T diversion ... The Voice Spring 2017 !

Ugh!!!!! Not really thrilled about how this ended. I won't say, just in case you PVRd it. Not so sure about the judges line up for next year either. They are bringing Miley back and Jennifer Hudson. Apparently the ratings were not there this season so they are changing it up!

I cannot begin to imagine what you are going through, but thank you so much for sharing with all of us while you are hurti...

Re: New supporter here- Mom with Stage IV

We had my dad drinking one or two boosts or ensures a day to keep up with his calories. I am not sure what you call it in the USA. When my daughter some dental surgery, she was supposed to drink them as well, but she hated the taste, so we mixed it with ice cream for a shake. Maybe something like th...

Re: New supporter here- Mom with Stage IV

My dads only symptom of cancer was diarrhea. He did not have any other pain or weakness when this all started. Its hard to tell if his treatments helped the diarrhea, because the chemo he was on caused more. He actually did extremely well with his chemo. It was just since this past July that he star...

Re: My elderly mum passed away

I am so sorry for your loss. I lost my father in January. He was bit younger than your mother. He had cancer in his liver, lungs and colon. He was on chemo for almost 2.5 years. He developed a bladder infection in November and never really recovered from it. His issues were NOT directly cancer relat...

Re: 90 year old mother in law --FOLFOX

So sorry you had to come here, but as mentioned, you are in the right place for information! My father was 79 when he was diagnosed with stage iv colon cancer. He had liver and lung involvement. As I have mentioned here before, the oncologist before meeting him had a plan to go mild with the chemo, ...

Re: NEW THREAD FOR LOVED ONES LEFT BEHIND ONGOING

I am sure finding that my grief is nothing like I expected it would be. My mom has really struggled since dad passed away. One of us slept with her every night for the first two weeks then she said the nightmares stopped so she could manage, but she has not been alone yet. Her sisters came to stay t...
