CEA wasn't an indicator for me, but conversations with my onc led me to believe that that could change. Thanks for adding this interesting thought. In the past my CEA has been a good indicator. PIPAC might be an option for you. It's a relatively new, minimal invasive procedure for peri mets. Maybe surgeons are more willing to work with you if the surgery is less challenging for the patient?!? Good points, MissMolly. Methadone should not be taken lightly as it is highly addictive and as you mention comes with its own side-effects. As does chemo and any other drug. I went to see a palliative doc today, got a prescription with dosing scheme and now have methadone sitting on my desk. The doc...
