Re: Blockage

Grouseman, I'm so sorry to hear of your loss. You have been an amazing and wise advocate for her, and have taught many of us a lot. I pray for the peaceful rest for your wife, and many warm memories to sustain you.

Warm hugs to you.

Re: New member: An Introduction

Also, hemophilia is an x-linked genetic disease. While it CAN occur in women, it is very, very rare. Are you sure your diagnosis of hemophilia is accurate?

Re: New member: An Introduction

Things other than cancer can cause "blockages". Perhaps I didn't read your post carefully enough, butt i don't see that you have even been diagnosed with cancer?? I am a legal nurse consultant. I don't believe you have any grounds for a lawsuit.

Best wishes to you. Hope you feel fine soon.

Re: Fingerprint lost....how bizarre!!

I lost my fingerprints, and I remember at that time (~5 years ago) on the Board, LOTS of people had experienced the same thing on chemo. It took about 6-8 months after chemo for mine to come back.

Re: Brain mets . . . and they're aggressive

Hi Annclare, So glad you got home from the hospital! Yay for some good, home cooked food and returning to limited work if that's what you feel like doing. I heartily applaud your amazing attitude. (You don't have to have an amazing attitude everyday if you don't feel like it though) I hope the radia...

Hi. If you've had a normal colonoscopy, I think you can relax. Try to stop worrying and relish your great results!

Best wishes to you.

Re: Need advice from long time survivors re when to stop scans

Bev, It's so hard to let go. My anxiety has become controlled and not as bad at testing time, but the thought of stopping 'early' terrifies me. We've seen so many who are pronounced cured who are dead in a few years. I've written Dr. Cedric Garland who is the Vit. D3 hero and asked him to invite me...

Re: Need advice from long time survivors re when to stop scans

Diane, conventional wisdom (and my wisdom, such as it is) says you are CURED. I think your energy these days should be about emotionally finding a way to let this nightmare go. I am NED 7+ years out. It's a work in progress for me to get beyond it. You have been an awesome trooper...now I think you'...
