Re: Where We Are At

So sorry to hear this. I can't imagine anyone thinking Katie is giving up!! I think that the way she is handling all of this at her very young age shows what a truly remarkable young lady you have raised! Kudos to you and your wife! She is facing this damned disease head on and staying strong, not l...

Re: 1cm Spot On Liver, Stage 4???

from what I have read, stage iv is when it has spread to more then one organ other then the colon. My dads is stage iv as it is in his liver and his lungs, but I am no expert, just going by what I have learned. Hopefully some of the others will chime in here soon for you and correct me if I am wrong.

Re: new here

Thank you Sue, it sounds like things are going well for your dad, that is awesome! I went to my doctor today and go for blood work tomorrow and then meet with her next week for results and to see about a colonoscopy. She felt 5 years would be a good time frame for me being I had one polyp but though...

He was a wee bit nauseated after day 4 but managed without any meds. (they gave him meds for days 1-3 as a precaution) He stayed active, did his usual coffee wi...

First they thought maybe a bacteria in his colon, so a laxative was used while he waited to get in for his ultrasound. After the ultra sound they saw a shadow in his colon so a colonoscopy was ...

Re: Now...plan C?

I am new here, but have read some of your posts about your daughter. She is so lucky to have a father like you supporting her and trying so hard to help find a way to beat this damn disease. As a parent of a daughter her age, my heart is breaking for you and your family. I pray that somehow you find...
