How to live the rest of my life.

I'm so stuck right now. My oncologist says I might get two years and that kills me as my daughter just turned 6. I want her to remember me. Do I quit my job? Do I pull her out of school and travel. Do I try to get surgery that will likely have me hospital for three months. This is just so hard. I ne...

Re: Another question on alt meds/vitamins/etc

All of the things I take are due to some evidence I have found that it will help the body to fight cancer. You can look for medical articles on these things.

I take similar stuff to Cb75

My oncologist make me also have B12 shots due to having no large bowel. I also take high dose Vitamin C, which I have just started and a must is vitamin D. I also drink pure blueberry juice.

I try to cut out sugar but that is not easy....

Re: What can be causing painful stomach cramping?

After I had my bowel removed I had three minor bowel obstructions where my gut had gotten blocked by wriggling into a position around scar tissue. Each time I was put in hospital and given fluids. In a day things cam right. I suggest drinking as much as you can. My last blockage was due to cancer in...

I think it is going to cost 150 new zealand dollars. Which is doable but I also have my wider family pitching in on the costs.

Re: I'm sorry for being MIA

Hi Christine This is exactly how I feel. When hope is fading there just isn't much to say. Constantly putting on a happy face is hard to do. I am just so sick of people calling me with empty offerers of help. The only person who is really there for me is my husband and he is doing everything. Blow a...

Thanks everyone! ....it's not good.

Wow. What a whirlwind week and a half. I was flown via helicopter to Waikato hospital in New Zealand. It is a large understaffed grotty hospital. I spent seven days throwing up every hour or two with bloody stools. Till one day finally a doctor said that's it, your having surgery. They cut me open t...

CEA can rise while on chemo. You really need to be tested once off. Mine went up while on chemo.

Re: Pelvic mass - Update

So happy to read about your successful surgery. I wanted HIPEC but my oncologist said it is very difficult to recover from. It is something left in my bag of tricks if needed.
