Re: Another spot… ablation ahead

Norway is a stunning country . Cruised up the Fjords . Any time I looked out the window the views were astounding .

There towns and cities were unique too but rather expensive.

So pleased you are safely through your ablation . Now for some relaxation.

Re: Who are the longest stage 4 survivor's on here?

Just thought I would bring this thread back up and update . This summer will be my mum’s 13th year since a stage 4 diagnosis. She has become a teenager . 11 years clear since her big liver resection and a significant birthday to celebrate .
Take care ,

Re: Rising Liver Enzymes - Looking for advice

Hi , Honestly it does sound to me as though this is going in a good direction . That’s great shrinkage after three rounds and my mum’s enzymes went up as well . We anticipated it would . She went on to have not one but two resections in her liver . The second being 73% removed . She was 69 at the ti...

Now they can decide what to eat for themselves and my ability to influence as a mother lessens, it creeps in more and more . However saying that they are on the whole good with exercise , diet and very low alcohol . T...

Re: Thoughts on treatment approach - stage IV recurrent

Hi , Hope the results from the CT scans goes well and you can get moving forward with your new plan . Back when my mum was treated they gave very little information and after one consultation they said “We found what we expected ..cancer !” . I often wonder what exactly the extent of that was at tha...

Re: CEA Uptick From 3.3 to 3.4……..Any Cause For Alarm?

We found out about my mum’s lung met seven years after diagnosis. It had been visible at 2mm two years before but then started doubling in value ! Some people here traveled to Dr Drew’s in Germany for laser surgery on lung mets . Their posts should still be here if you use the search function . Just...
