I am so glad your husband has stabilized. Can they do a PET Scan to see if those other lesions are in fact tumors.

I am really sorry to hear this. Have they confirmed it is colon cancer, are they or have they biopsied any of the lesions?
Take it one day at a time and one step at a time. The first thing would be to get the opinion of a good oncologist at a major cancer center.

Had a similar issue. Of course in hindsight I wish I had moved up my scan. But even after the scan, things still moved slowly or shall I say not fast enough to satisfy me. So in some ways, waiting a month might not make to much of a difference, but it can be comforting to say you listened to your in...

If it is just one tumor, it is possible to get chemotherapy to shrink the tumor and probably kill any micrometastasis, and surgery to remove it after a few months of chemotherapy.
