My DH has been on both. FOLFOX + Avastin x 9 treatments last spring. Worst side effect was the cold sensitivtiy and neuropathy. The neuropathy continues, seems to get worse after any type of anesthesia. He had mild nausea, helped with Zofran. By round 5 or 6, he had the chemo funk all the time. Then...

He does get atropine and interestingly is drinking lemonade like crazy - he says it settles his stomach. Seems to be doing okay this round. It's always worse a few days after the pump comes out.

So he has used a little mmj, seems to be doing quite well with it, but he is afraid of getting addicted... Along with steroids, emend, compazine lorazapam and immodium as needed. I will get him some lomotil and see if that's better for his diarrhea. Any little idea works. Thanks so much! It's so nic...
