Oncologist gave him the option of stopping chemo but he wanted the full treatment. He (and I) are hoping it will eventually go away; oncologis...

Bomberbob I beg to differ.

You DO have grand words of wisdom to share. You write simply and eloquently. Your words give me hope for my son and all others here who are fighting this battle. Thank you, thank you!

Now begins the slow road getting back to his healthy self, and surveillance. The oncologist told him at least 2 months before he begins to feel like himself aga...

Re: Goodbye

This is so heartbreaking to read both of your posts; I have tears in my eyes. God bless you both for the love and care you have shown to your wives.
I hope in time you will find peace knowing that you did everything you could for them in their final days. My deepest sympathies.

I understand your anger. I don't have much advice other than keep pushing for the care you want for your mom. There is a lot of support here. (((hugs)))

Re: Modifications to prevent/lessen chance of recurrence

There is scientific evidence that meat, especially processed meat increases the probability to develop CRC. Also a diet rich in fibers is positive in many ways. I was already training a lot but perhaps this lead to producing too many free radicals? :D I avoid meat, diary, added sugar except when I ...

Re: Modifications to prevent/lessen chance of recurrence
