Thank you all for the kind words. i have been reading through my Dads memoirs alot so pleased Dad wrote this with the help of a hospice volunteer. He has left an awesome legacy For our family, and something that we will always treasure.

Just want to say my earlier post may be too harsh & think I was too caught up in my families situation & reality. So important to really assess what your brother wants. He may be 100% still looking for treatment etc & then you need to keep searching & hoping.... otherwise if that is ...

Willow, So sorry dad didn't get that stable patch you were all looking for. One suggestion, if pain is already started, get the pain doc on board now. Or at least get onc to prescribe pain pills until he gets to see a pain doc. Those pills have made a big difference for me. I am on codeine as a lon...

Dad had a scan last week & results in today. The chemo is not working & liver completely full.. Dad was hoping for some stable news but no, worst news really. Pain started couple days ago. Stopping chemo & Onc predicted would need morphine in couple days & only weeks to live. Strange...
