Re: Durvalumab and Cediranib Clinical trial - I'm in!

KElizabeth,

Have you had a CT SCAN since you started the clinical trial?

I am looking for clinical trials. It is worthwhile to get more info abou this one.

Thanks,

Re: MGD007 compound specifially for advanced colorectal cancer

They theoretically have the dosages straightened out though as it's in Phase III. It sounds most promising if they can identify cancer cells from the cell surface. It is still in Phase I, which will end in 2019. I just did key word search on this forum and found many messages posted in 2015 about M...

Re: MGD007 compound specifially for advanced colorectal cancer

It indeed looks very promising. I feel the mechanism is better and may be safer than Roche's immu-compound in clinical trials which targets on CEA.

MGD007 compound specifially for advanced colorectal cancer

is there anyone in the group who participated in phase I clinical trial of MGD007? unlike PD-1 and PDL-1 inhibitors, MGD007 is to enhance T-cells to specifically target and kill tumor cells including their stem cells of colorectal cancers. so its mechanism is different from most immunology drugs app...

Re: TIL Immunotherapy at NCI

Hi Celine and others who have/are participating in the clinical trial of TIL Immunotherapy: TIL Immunotherapy is indeed break-through type of technology for cancer treatment. I believe to date NCI have enrolled many patients for the trials. I'd like to know if there is any info you know of about the...

Re: Any Chemo Lifers? Incurable Stage 4

Dear jdepp, Thank you for sharing treatment experience of your long journey. It is great to know you always want to be in charge of you own chemo dose. You know your body better than your onc. One concern I always have is: when chemo dose is reduced I am afraid the chemo would be less effective and ...

Re: Did anyone have experience with Cystitis caused by Irinotecan.

Lee,

I meant if 75% were female, then only 25% were male.

Therefore for a male getting Cystitis caused by Irinotecan, the change was 1% x 0.25% = 0.0025, which is as small as a chance of getting a Jackpot.

Re: Did anyone have experience with Cystitis caused by Irinotecan.

Hi Shana,

Thanks for your reply. The article's data show about 1% patients taking Irinotecan got Cystitis and 75% of them were female. I guess I got a jackpot :(

Did anyone have experience with Cystitis caused by Irinotecan.

Hi All, I started Irinotecan two months ago, now I feel I have Cystitis. Today my Onc. ordered urinary analysis and the report shows there is no unitary track infection and there are no bacteria in urine. I read an article, which states Irinotecan could cause Cystitis especially for colrectal cancer...

Re: Dry Orgasm

It seems to be permanent to me. I had a rectosigmoid surgery in May 2014. Since then I have had dry orgasm. I consulted a urologist in Sep 2014, he said it would be permanent. However I searched Internet and found one article that stated some patients could recover, but it might take up to two years...
