Re: and now my DOG? SERIOUSLY?!?!

So sorry to hear about your dog, I had to watch my healthy and robust 4 year old boxer slowly succumb to cancer a few years ago and I can imagine how hard it would be now while undergoing treatment.

Vets can do amazing things with pain management to keep them comfortable. Good luck.

Re: The Weird Things People say.....

Conversation with the busybody standing behind the admission person when I went for a virtual colonoscopy (too obstructed for normal one) Me: I'm here to check-in for my virtual colonscopy. Nosy one: we only do those on Wednesday Me: well they scheduled me for Thursday and I did the prep yesterday s...

Re: I'm shrinking!! I'm Shrinking!

Congrats on the good news! Did you have to convince your siblings to get screened? If so how did you? My oldest brother is still holding out insisting that he's not 50 yet and won't do it until then. Well since I'm 10 years younger and already found it, I argue that the 50 no longer applies to him a...

Thanks again for the responses! Patience is a virtue I don't always possess, but if I learn nothing else from this experience it will be patience. I am just going to have to practice and play detective some more to figure this problem out. Counting down the hours until I can return my little buddy (...

Re: Another new member

Thanks for all the replies! I must be in chemo fog because I didn't see the search box earlier! Add that to the lovely side effect list. I do have an ileostomy and we are currently planning a reversal after all the chemo. I'm still just a month out but the only day I haven't had lots of gas was the ...

Re: Another new member

Thanks for the comments! I'll have to blame it on the treatments I didn't even see the search topic box earlier. I do have ileostomy and it is planned to be reversed after all the treatments. I had a feeling that I would get everything figured out just in time to reverse it. Almost have figured out ...

Unfortunately I’m joining the way too young club. I was diagnosed in mid-February after a colonoscopy that was expecting to find an ulcer but found me nearly obstructed instead. Each doctor I saw bullied the next into seeing me immediately and I was able to started radiation and xeloda a week later....
