Re: I an VERY sorry if I unintentionally started another debate

Hi. I don't see that you are responsible. Stating that during a low period you were finding the conflict hard is fine with me. It is for that exact reason that many appeals for polite exchange were made but disregarded. That is for them to evaluate not you. It is for the site owners to choose the fo...

Re: Sad but true

Hey you. If I lived nearer I would have the kettle on and you would have company. Two years into a stage4 diagnosis and physically with all the surgery and treatment my poor mum was struggling. Her very ,very kind surgeon told her that it was normal after a period of time to hit a wall . Even with t...

Hi. I would say his cea is as they would expect to see, elevated after a chemo break . But its not too high. My mum was the same. Responding to chemo and getting to surgery is still within his sights if I read your other post correctly . My mother had a similar journey. She had two years of chemo an...

Re: Divine Healing

Greg, can I just say you are clearly well read and an able debater and that I have no problem with. I read a lot of CS Lewis and whilst I know some of it was translated from the radio you can still get a feel for the arguments presented which lots of humans ponder. Those arguments however remained w...

Re: Hi and thinking of you all

Hi. Glad to hear you and your mum and dad have been away having fun. I packed my parents off on holiday three days ago . My mum is a stage 4 patient but 4 years treatment free. Yesterday I woke up to find a large breast lump. A cup of tea with my mum was just what I wanted. However I have done the d...

To still seek the best for your children when you have so much to physically endure can only be pure love.

Deeply sad. I am glad I told him what an incredible human being I thought he was. I can quite imagine him not wanting to burden others when he was enduring so much. He was a man of courage.

Re: So angry! Do I have any rights here?

Hi. Hope they are starting to sort out your mum's problems now. From what your saying I would go on the side of caution anyway until she is discharged then seek advise on recommencing the treatment. With my mum we have learnt it is better to roll with the punches and regroup when appropriate. Althou...

Well thankfully some awesome posters have the science covered so it just leaves me to send good wishes and sincerely hope this picks up for you soon. Obviously I had a whole list of current research to bring to the table but they got there first. Hee. Seriously though that sounds rough and I hope fo...

Re: Can I selfishly rant for a moment, please

Hi Jude, I am starting to think that is why my mum frequently spoke about not fully understanding until you have walked the dessert in their boots. She was right for sure. But I wonder if she was trying to say that I couldn't possibly know. I did everything in my power to lessen her load but I would...
