Re: What is radiation/chemo treatment actually like?

That's just so neat! We have 5 dogs, 3 GSD and two lord knows what mixes. Combined, it's 400lbs of dog!! I think two of our shepherds would really excel at something like flyball but we live in the middle of nowhere.

Keep on trucking, you'll be finished before you know it.

Just adding to the list of folks that bled while on Avastin. Mine was a constant bloody nose.

Hope you both ate doing well!

Re: New Member, newly diagnosed

Holy shitballs, what an adventure. How are you holding up? Remember, you're not a cartoon of milk, you have no expiration date. You have half the hospital looking out for you!! It's great that you have plenty of organs that didn't want to get involved with that mess. You should treat your liver to a...

Hey! I missed your post about the flyball tournament. Did you compete with your dogs? What breed do you have?

It's good to read that you're tolerating things so well, all things considered.

You're a rock star, keep it up!!

Re: Input Regarding Continuing Oxi with Neuropathy Present

10 rounds with it, last 2 without. I have pretty bad issues with numbness/tingling/pain in my fingertips and feet. My hands are basically useless for much of anything  I am hopeful that my issues will resolve with time. If not, I'll find a way to live with it, assuming I'll live a really long ...

Re: Looking for opinions or advice I guess.. (maybe just support)

That sounds pretty typical, FOLFOX/Avastin mix for liver involvement. For myself, I had my primary tumor removed first, then started chemo after I delivered my baby. I only had one liver met but responded wonderfully to the drugs. Good luck with his treatment, I lost all my hair, eyebrows and lashes...

Re: Zantac and Colon Cancer

It was recommended by 3 different OBs! Tums wasn't cutting it, so they said to get the Zantac. I mean, it totally helped with the heartburn. I just have to wonder if that might have caused my cancer. Maybe. Maybe it was just bad luck. Who knows. I'm just so pleased to be in NED status. No matter ho...

Re: Zantac and Colon Cancer

I'm really curious if anything comes from this, much like roundup and talcum powder.

Zantac and Colon Cancer

Has anyone here taken a ton of Zantac before their diagnosis? I ate it like candy during almost every one of my pregnancies. 150mg a day, daily for the majority of the last decade. I'm not sure if there is going to be any legal action taken against the makers, like they did with Roundup. If so, sign...

I get so much hope with threads like these. It could seriously be me that's NED with no reoccurrence. It has to be someone, right?
