Re: Right hemicolectomy fears

Can any of you guys who've had this op give me any reassurance that life will return to normal afterwards? I've never had any trouble with my bowels and I'm fearful about that changing. Congratulations with the outcome of your surgery! Lisa, could you provide an update on your current life? How dif...

Re: Stage 1 with no surgery...any thoughts?

Am I glad for the surgery? It's a pain at times- even a year out. But I sleep better knowing the area is completely clear of cancer. You can't be sure that the area is completely clear of cancer. Cancer may have already spread to other lymph nodes (that have not been removed during surgery) and oth...

Re: Stage 1 with no surgery...any thoughts?

Re: Fertility drugs and colon cancer

a doctor is trying to link colon cancer with egg donation (and I'm taking it one step further to say fertility drugs in general). She thinks the fertility drugs caused her daughter to get colon cancer at a young age. One doctor claiming such link on the basis of one case? It has nothing to do with ...

2. Drink ... caps of water ... hours prior to CT scan.
