Re: We made it!!!!

Your entire family was blessed by this experience. Such wonderful news - I can't wait to see the photos!! For some reason, when I put in "Anji Bittel Edge", FB gives me zero results. What am I doing wrong?

My sincerest condolences on the loss of your daughter Becca. So many people turned out to pay tribute to her. She must have been a most special person.

Re: When it's time, you know...

Pat, My grandmother's experience with hospice care was so wonderful, so much what she needed to help her make the transition from struggling for a cure to living out the remainder of her life in comfort and peace. The staff were excellent in heading off too many (or unwanted) visitors. She was able ...

Re: PERCY SMITH RIP My Sweetie

I'm sorry for your loss. (What inadequate words to express what you and your family are going through.) I had the pleasure of receiving a card from your father last year and was hoping he'd be able to see one more Christmas, as it was such a festive time for him. His Christmas house is a legacy that...

Re: Xmas cards 4 Percy - All 50 States Represented!

Oh, no! I'm so, so sorry to hear this. So often situations on this board remind me how inadequate words can be. Catta, you, Percy and your family and friends are in my thoughts and prayers.

Re: HOLIDAY FUN - PLEASE JOIN IN!!

I did this with another group years ago and one of the parts I liked best was learning who sent the gift, even if it was just a screen name. It made the gift more personal. Does anyone else feel that way?

Re: Gaelen

Gaelen,

You are missed here on the board but we know you must use all your energies to heal enough that you can end your vacation at Club Meds and get home to your dogs and familiar, comfortable surroundings. Here is hoping that will be soon. Take care.

Re: Urinary Tract Infections

I think I have once; my wife gets them here and there and from what I see, they are quite uncomfortable and painful. Pearlgirl, my comment was just a joke/wise ass comment. That's how I get through life. I meant no offense. Seriously. Ok, maybe a little offense, but, honestly, just in good fun. Mic...

Re: Urinary Tract Infections

Urinate before and after intercourse, preferably showering after sex, to help clean any bacteria out of the urinary tract. . Man, that sounds like a lot of peeing and a lot of showering. Have you ever had a UTI? Compared to that discomfort, it's nothing to pee and wash up. I hope some people find t...

Re: Urinary Tract Infections

Urinate before and after intercourse, preferably showering after sex, to help clean any bacteria out of the urinary tract. Use water-soluble lubricants, if any are needed. Cranberry tablets are more potent and have fewer calories than juice - my urologist recommends Thera Cran, which you can order o...

Re: Embarrassing issues - I feel like I leave a trail of sce

I can't remember the name of the product but there is a tablet that I think you can eat that eliminates odor. Some ostomates drop the tablet into their pouch. It's not something ordinary from the store. Maybe someone will know what I'm talking about and know if it's edible or just for pouches.
