It seems as though you have exhausted anything that had shown signs of slowing this Sh** down. My wife did a trial but at the end of it there wasn't much else available. She retired from work at that point in January and spent the few final months enjoying the time she had left. Though here it was ...
I am so very sorry to read this, Brokenwings. It is hard to find words... The end of the road will be there for all of us, eventually, but it seems so unfair that one should go through so much. I hope you can find peace and have the best possible summer, surrounded by friends and family. Much love ...

We have patients in this board and other boards that have been in remission for years and some of them are considered cure...
Sarah DeBord has left us. I don't know if she was active here (I've never seen her posting here...) but she was certainly a major advocate working for the CCA and Colontown... She was definitely a familiar face in the CRC world and a great blogger... The CCA posted this beautiful tribute on Facebook...

Hi. I second what CRguy said: colon cancer can bypass the liver and go straight to the lungs. Yes, it's less likely to act this way and yes, rectal cancers tend to do this more often than cancers in the colon. But don't forget this wise observation: "Cancer does whatever it wants." As for ...
