Re: Soaring Price of Cancer Drugs Leads Plans To New Approaches

I'm all for prevenative care - but it's too late for - now it's all about treatment and hoping there is a new drug in 2 years. I don't see any similarity to the bailout to business companies recently (that we...

could also be an infection or other metobolic activity (not cancer). I understand how furstrating to do these tests and have this uncertaintly. but remember the machines do have technolgoy limits and they yet can't remove that uncertaintly. often having cancer long term, you will have troubling scan...

Re: Soaring Price of Cancer Drugs Leads Plans To New Approaches

ok - here is what I found to cite to back up what I said - via somewhat random web searches. I couldn't find Vioxx data - so I picked Nexium "the purple pill" as an alterative fact #1 - the total US market for GER - those who would use Nexium is 7 million accourding to Health and Human Ser...

Re: Soaring Price of Cancer Drugs Leads Plans To New Approaches

you asked where is this documented? (RE: that cancer drugs have a smaller market and but similar or higher R&D compared to widespread drugs such as pain relief, etc.) I'll have to find the data again...take me a little time - I don't mind doing that. I assume if I show the sales of a drug like a...

Re: Soaring Price of Cancer Drugs Leads Plans To New Approaches

I think that EVERYONE diagnosed with cancer should receive FREE SURGERY, FREE MEDS, FREE TREATMENTS, FREE EVERYTHING....FREE! That sounds nice, but who pays for the drugs? I am actually a strong sporter for medical insurance reform and programs to be sure more have insurance. But nothing is free - ...

Re: Moderation policy question

Do you want a forum full of objectionable material? people attacking others for example? why should we provide that? or clearly off subject questionable subjects - such do we need a long argumentative thread where we will never agree - such about religion where many people are oftened. I view this a...

Re: Moderation policy question

well we have been deleting messages and entrie threads that are objectionalbe. waht I'm propose are some rules to avoid objectional posts in the first place, so that your "censorship" rule becomes moot. Do you feel the simple rules I was suggesting are too hard for posters to follow to avo...

they will likely do a want to do a signmscope to see if there something immediately that is causing this.

Re: Moderation policy question
