Question about colonoscopy

Hi everyone I have a quick question, over the past four months I had multiple finger exams and two scopy ‘s to remove a benign polyp and have a cheek up. My question is if the colonoscopy and finger examination would notice if there was problems in the really low rectal/anal area ? Because from some...

Re: Dull back pain 6 weeks after rectal surgery

The only person with bone Mets I know, also had two large tumours between her organs and multiple lymph nodes. But she had leukaemia not colon cancer. But I guess that in most cases bone mets are the absolute last place the Mets spread to. I’m sure you’re fine since there is no lymph nodes involved....

Re: Anatomy of the female body

I have one question and then I will do a “checklist” I have had many lady problems, been to doctors and dermatologist over the time, apparently I just have a very sensitive and fragile vagina. Is it documented uti’s that you need medical attention for or something you can nib in the butt? You may al...

Re: Have had symptoms for years and I put it off. Am I screwed?

My hunch would be that your symptoms are related to gall bladder or liver and bile duct problems as a first area of inquiry by a gastroenterologist. Karen I think your right, it’s of cause the gall bladder and not pancreas, that was a brain fart on my behalf! They might live next to each other, but...

Re: Have had symptoms for years and I put it off. Am I screwed?

It’s really don’t match symptoms to colon cancer, yellow stools are fine actually, but don’t know about it being oily, sound like something not quite right in the digestion department, I know problems with the pancreas can give fatty stools that can be hard to floss out. And also now that you mentio...

Re: Dull back pain 6 weeks after rectal surgery

My mom had surgery two years ago to remove her uterus due to a benign muscle “tumour” they made a classic small cesarean cut. After the operation she had some days in bed and when she began to move around it was still less active than “normal” she got a back pain due to her more unusual activity and...

Re: New here...At a Crossroad

I’m so sorry to hear about your current situation. I think I depends on life quality, how affected are you by the chemotherapy? Dose it knock you out completely or can you live a “normal” life. If the chemo don’t ruin your life quality I would keep on going, what can it hurt really, the medical worl...

Re: New here - Nervous and worried.

It’s a good thing your going to check it out, it may be a polyp and it may be nothing, hopefully the doctors made so many tests so you can be fairly sure if there is any cancer at all it’s properly one of the lowest stages. My non cancerous polyp was very irritated and gave clear symptoms like highl...

Re: Colonoscopy, polyps and going forward

I was very lucky my polyp was located so I had some early symptoms, even though it was “only” 1,5 cm, I understand the thing about being afraid forever, I hope I can learn to let I go and trust everything will be fine if I just get my checks. Traditional our food culture is alike, potatoes and meat ...

Re: Colonoscopy, polyps and going forward

melanoma Is “skin” cancer right ? That was very lucky they found it, sounds like you been super lucky even though unlucky to catch cancer in the first place. In Scandinavian where I’m from, they actually have the highest rate of colon cancer in the world, I think Norway takes first place. Property b...

Re: Colonoscopy, polyps and going forward

We don’t really have any cancers on my mothers sdie, think my grandpa’s brother had early prostate cancer and my grandma’s sister survived cervix cancer and died 20 yers later of bladder cancer due to alcoholism. My dads side is more unknown, but my mom can’t remember any talk of cancer. So I don’t ...
