Good luck Crystal. Just one word of advice for you, in a case like yours (DH), it pays to find the best surgeon possible. I'm sure you already know this, BUTT it would be nice to avoid a permanent colostomy.

I think it is a great idea for people to get together. I hate to be a wet blanket, but why should we think famous rich people should pay for this? Lobbying for contributions to a legit CRC research org makes sense. But, paying for folks to have a party without any financial check sounds very unlike...
