Very upset! UPDATE - our friend passed away

Hi all, I am so upset right now...and it's not about Bruce, even though he does have an issue going on at the moment. We have a friend, Bob, who was diagnosed with stage III rectal cancer in July. He went through the chemo/rads for six weeks and tolerated it pretty well. Moving up to last Wednesday....

Re: Bruce's scans

Thank you so much, everyone!!! We celebrated at Bonefish Grill last night. We had a wonderful dinner and also received a free dessert. The reason was, the waitress asked if we wanted dessert and the special was crème brulee, which is our favorite. I told her why not, we were celebrating and she aske...

Re: It's that time again...prayers, swinging chicks - UPDATE

Hi all, Bruce's scans came out clear as a bell!! Poor Bruce had to wait an extra hour at the radiology place because his oncologist’s office forgot to get the approval from his health insurance. He was not a happy camper, but it was worth the wait!!!! You all know the scanxiety we have to go through...

Re: Life Insurance

I saw this in the AARP magazine. $15,000 policy - no medical exam and no health questions. You have to be over 50 and your spouse has to be 45 or older (or vice versa). There are stipulations for certain states.

Check it out: https://www.nylaarp.com/Life-Insurance/ ... Acceptance

Thanks, everyone. I appreciate it and so does Bruce. He is one of the lucky ones who will get his results right after his scan.

There has definitely been some struggles going on here and I pray for all of you for clear scans, successful surgeries, those on chemo and rads to kill those freakin' cancer cells, and for all of you to ...
