Hello,
Does anyone have experience with immunotherapy at Sunnybrook or any other Ontario hospital.
Could you kindly share the same or recommend Dr.
Thanks.

Re: Stage 4 - liver mets disappeared

You probably fall in the category of medical miracles.
I can only recommend that you should do all you can to help your body.
Exercise, go on non animal - low fat diet ( follow Dr. Mcdougall ) , drink tons of fresh juices ( Chris beat cancer) , meditate and stay positive and happy.

Re: FOLFOX failed

Hello
Sorry to see you here.

Capox and various other chemos failed in my case. Finally immunotherapy worked for me.

I am not from US so can't advise cancer centres to go to but definitely try to get opinion at a major centre.
Best of luck.

Re: 23 years old with stage 4 colon cancer

Stay strong.
If positive then something will work out.
Young ppl are able to recover from and withstand harsher treatments.
As suggested by many, do get urself tested for msi status as well as Lynch syndrome on top priority.
Totally different course of treatment based on results.

Re: MSI or MSS

Stu
You are doing great work there.
Does anyone know of any advocacy group for approval of Keytruda / Nivolumab for CRC in Canada.
Health Canada seems to be sleeping in this regards.

Re: Anyone with peri mets who survived?

Hi I had peri mets but was considered unfit for HIPEC as mets were there in lungs and liver too. Fortunately, immunotherapy worked for me and it seems peritoneal mets are gone. As per my understanding traditional Chemo doesn't work too well for peri mets as there is not a lot of blood supply in that...

So encouraging to read about your mom's story.
Congrats.
Do share about her lifestyle after her initial occurrence.
Did she do anything different?
Thanks for sharing.

It is now at once a month. Great to hear that Henry. Looks like we are kind of in the same boat right now. If i...
