Re: Fcae book cancer scam

http://www.wcyb.com/watercooler/31038475/detail.html?source=WCYB Maybe I'm too pedantic, but I generally get annoyed at articles that use "artistic license" to make untrue statements like "A click of a mouse can help you connect and share, but it landed Heather Sturgill Bowen in a he...

Re: Irrigation!

Everyone's different....but I can't say that I'd consider Staci's time commitment to be overbearing, nor do I think she does given the benefits she gets from it. She 's been irrigating since probably last October or so, and she spends about 40-45 minutes each night while the kids are in the bath. I...

Re: Irrigation!

Ah! One of my favorite topics to have come up! Mostly because I actually know something about it! lol! As mastan said, many folks find it to be a great option and don't feel it takes too long to do. If yu get to where you can wait 48 hours between irrigations, that's ideal in my view. It's not somet...

Re: O T- Nicks News article Finds ( added to)

Yep. And that psychiatrist writing it is against "physician-assisted suicide"... instead: "much more needs to be explored about how to make the end of their lives tolerable, and, dare I say, even enlightening"... so does he want to more or less force mind altering drugs on dying...

Re: Dr. use street drugs to end suffering

http://www.foxnews.com/health/2012/04/24/doctors-consider-using-street-drugs-to-ease-suffering-dying-patients/ Ok, perhaps there is a point in here, but "potentially miraculous substances" is too far over the top for my tastes lol. Also one person's "enlightnment" is another per...

Re: what a difference in forums...perhaps I am spoiled

Lets just say my experience with the BC forum is waaaayyyy different. I felt welcomed here within the first hour. I got more information from you than I could digest. I feel like on the other its like pulling teeth. Anyway, just figured I would let everyone know what a special place this is althoug...

Re: First Surgery Memories

 Haha, my first surgery (wisdom teeth extraction) and every surgery since, big or small, I always curse like a sailor once the anesthesia starts and until it is out of my system. Quite funny considering I rarely use any foul language. It's like it's suppressed, just waiting to get out! Is now...

Re: First Surgery Memories

I don't think I ever had an i.v. until my 'cope that led to my Dx. I had never spent more than brief times for ER visits (got knocked off my motorcycle once and walked out 2 hours later with crutches and I think percocet). My first hospitalization and surgery was my APR as I'd been pretty healthy al...
