She's taking blood clot medication though....could she still have it?

I didn't see that part. Probably not.
And yes, I think cavitation is a good thing.

Re: I guess I have a "hemerhoid"?

Popped or popped out? I had an internal one that would pop out previously. All I can say is it felt like it popped. I didn't really notice in my truck, but working, it felt like I was sitting on a marble (on tailbone). For about 3 weeks. Six months ago. Then it just felt like it popped one day. Aft...

Re: I guess I have a "hemerhoid"?

I would put this on the post about "why the dr just doesn't listen". It is a new dr but still...I think he has annoyed me! I guess he has helped by sending me somewhere & pretty quick but idk. I have had problems for 10 yrs. hubby had them a yr before diagnosed. I'm just worried I guess.

Re: I guess I have a "hemerhoid"?

Could it be a polynoidal (spelling?) cyst rather than a hemorrhoid? I know someone that had one and it grew up and under the tailbone, it was incredibly painful and it would appear and pop (it was bloody as well). They eventually had to have it surgically removed. Just curious, I did not know hemor...

Re: I guess I have a "hemerhoid"?

It looks like she is only an MD. At a clinic. Yes. Hubby's was with GI at a hospital. I need to look more but it looks like she took care of lots of stuff including cancer. Maybe I'll see if they have a cancelation. It can only be Thursday or Friday because of work tho. And I don't really want to b...

Re: To All

I'm sorry about your husband. That all sounds pretty scary. I saw your earlier post but didn't know what to say. Still don't. You would think one cancer is enough for us to deal with. I hope you are doing ok.

I guess I have a "hemerhoid"?

I hope it is anyways. It's up under my tailbone. It swelled, I guess, and hurt pretty bad when I started working (driving. Yay). Then it popped or something because it felt like it went away. Dr did xray on tailbone & wasn't going to check but he ended up checking. He felt it & it tested pos...

Re: Irinotecan with colostomy

I think it took a little while for hubby's to get "Normal". I'll have to ask. But he didn't have a hernia. It did just burst every couple of days. He just went to bed, but I asked him anyways :) He's not on chemo now so idk. I remember now the dr put him on 3 Metamucil 2 x's a day. But he ...

Re: Irinotecan with colostomy

I don't know about the irinotecan but I think you should take some kind of fiber. It won't just bulk it up. It helps stool move slower. And probably helps with getting toxins out. I'm sure someone else can explain better. You will end up dehydrated if you have diarrhea too long. Our onc told hubby t...

Re: Another Newbie here - Stage IIIC questions on treatment

After a few weeks, my husband ended up getting fluids every other day. If you can get disconnected closer to home they will probably give you fluids if you need them too. His was probably from radiation or thrush tho. And he wasn't on oxy. He passed out with low blood pressure (dehydration) so he di...

Re: Throat and mouth SO SORE . . . can't eat much

Like beans said, watch for thrush! My hubby was on the mouthwash. Pretty sure it was during chemo/radiation. It got to the point where he would cramp immediately after eating. Green stool. So they kept telling us just radiation problems. I finally saw thrush & wouldn't let him take MM on day of ...
