Jay, It saddens me to hear of Cherie's passing. Thank you for letting us know. My deepest condolences to you and her family. I hope she was able to find the words for her daughter and peace in her final months.

Cancer can be sneaky. I would recommend you follow the recommended protocol and do the chemo. Folfox isn't easy but you'll get through it.

Re: Neulasta fatigue?

Another vote for Clariton. In rounds 5-8, I had a total of twelve Neulasta shots. I always preceded each one with a single morning dose of Clariton and never had any additional issues.

Re: Question: Possible lung mets - chemo or wait for 3 mo. CT scan

Mypinkheaven, I’m sorry you got such conflicting info today. Wow, I cannot imagine how frustrating that phone call must have been. I hope your Onc can answer all of your questions to your satisfaction and clear up the plan...whatever that might be. Wishing you the best while hoping you can avoid the...

JD, I hate this for you and Ziggymonster. As others have said, it's hard enough fighting one stage 4, much less two. Good advise others have offered here. Will be thinking of you.

AT, no fun, but you made it through it! Thanks for posting your "notes." I know they'll be helpful to other newbies treading this route. I hope you're able to get back to enjoying the outdoors a bit during the interium time before the next phase. Looking forward to seeing positive results ...

Re: Scan Anxiety has hit! Also asking for opinions on treatment plan.

Chrisca, unfortunately, the tumor did test positive for colorectal cancer. There is still a chance, slim as it might be, that I've been cured. But as we all know so well, only time will tell. My Onc said 80% of the recurrences occur within the first two years after treatment. My last maintenance app...
