Re: Bowel "Urgency" - help!

My surgeon was so happy with my enema results that he started recommending it to his residents and his patients. QofL is so often left out of the equation. We are alive, be grateful. A statement made by someone who has never gone to the washroom 20 to 30 times a day - day after day. Been a hostage t...

Re: BrownBagger ....... I don't know what to say

I think of Eric, and many others everytime I come here. My life is better because of people I never "met", yet they became people I "knew". People I would never recognise walking down the street, but could tell you things that even their closest family members didn't know about t...

Re: Bowel "Urgency" - help!

I am not saying other remedies will not work, for many people they have. All I know is I tried many of them, and my quality of life did not improve. I read how some people are able to get to an ok point, but they have eliminated most of the foods they enjoy to get there. I guess I don't understand t...

You might want to wait a konth and try the popcorn again...at home  butt co grats because overall,,,you are...

Re: Colonoscopy results not in a good place

I know this is easy for me to say...butt...don't borrow trouble. Words of wisdom shared with me long ago. Right now, in this moment,,,,you do not 100% have cancer. Until you are told otherwise,,,,you do not have cancer. I know it is scarey given what they found,,,,but you have to stay in the NOW. I ...

Re: Reversal Thread

Look at your recovery victories in weeks, not days. I felt 2, 4 and 8 were the big weeks. You will have days that take you backwards....thats ok. Keep your eye on the big picture...good luck

Re: Neuropathy treatments

Look up my thread on my husbands neuropathy. Yes,,,it is medication based, butt a creme that you apply to the area, not an oral drug, so no side effects. He went from looking at perm disability one day to back to work a couple of days later. AMAZING.

Still having a hard time processing this one.

Re: On surgeon's advice, going to try the - gulp - daily enema

Anne, we have discussed your tummy issues a few times, but i cant remember if you ever said if you tried taking a gas x type pill before you do an enema? The reason i ask is because they work by taking all the little bubbles of gas and forming one big bubble that you eliminate. I wonder if you took ...

Re: On surgeon's advice, going to try the - gulp - daily enema

You might want to try less water. I had that issue at the beginning and my surgeon suggested trying less and it worked. I got the same result with half the amount. Good luck.
